'Every moment of our life is filled with beauty, if only one cares to notice. It is precious, unique and can never be repeated'.
Diana’s most recent paintings are records of North London scenes which she comes across everyday, usually whilst walking or driving.
She uses painting to re-connect with people, places and moments in time that were precious. She says that painting is her 'time machine – I travel back in time and re-live special moments'.
Inspired by her own personal, sentimental experiences, she is fuelled by an 'acute existential feeling of an unstoppable flow of time'.
Diana works in oils, and paints in a style that references Realism and Romanticism.
Diana moved to London from Russia in 2010 and joined Studio Fridays in April 2017. Her work has been shown at art fairs and group shows in London.
