Celestine Thomas

........ 'an artist aiming to be freed from any and all material presences other than colour itself'.

Celestine is a London based artist who is motivated by colour. She’s investigates how we use colour and the unconscious decisions we make regarding colour every day.

Celestine’s two and three dimensional abstract works result from experimenting with paint and surfaces, as well as using 'ready made’ colour combinations on found objects from the environment around her.

Celestine gained a BA in Fine Art from Middlesex University in 2015 and now works from her studio in Whetstone, where she also teaches.
