Jacqui Grant

Challenging societal norms and sparking dialogue

Mixed media protest artist, Jacqui Grant, explores social and political issues. Using a combination of traditional and non-traditional materials and techniques, images, found materials and text, Grant creates multilayered works that challenge societal norms and spark dialogue about pressing issues.

Grant’s work is driven by a desire to give a voice to marginalised communities and shed light on the various forms of oppression and injustice that exist in the world. By using her art as a form of activism, Grant says that she hopes to 'inspire others to take action and work towards creating a more just and equitable society.'
