Dawn Limbert is a pastel artist with a love of colour, dramatic light and shadows. She embraces the inherent qualities of pastels; their vibrant pigments and soft velvety texture, whilst constantly pushing their boundaries.
Finding solace and inspiration in the great outdoors, Limbert attempts to capture the fleeting beauty and ever-changing light of the natural world. Painting outdoors allows her to engage with her subject matter on an intimate level, capturing not just the visual elements but also the emotional energy of the moment.
Dawn is an Associate Member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, Associate Artist with Unison Colour, Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, the Pastel Society of America, and has also exhibited with the Pastel Society and Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries.
