The start of the year has been yet another very successful period for Studio Fridays artists. Here’s a round up from January to March:
Melissa Harris’s paper sculpture, ‘Purple Legged Spiral’, and Diana Sandetskaya’s oil painting, ‘Sunset in Mill Hill Park (XVII), were both selected for this year’s Wales Contemporary, and shown at the Garrison Chapel in Chelsea and the Waterfront Gallery in Milford Haven (until May 17th). Sandetskaya also exhibited two works with the Royal Society of British Artists at their annual Mall Galleries exhibition, and at the BobCat gallery in Putney.
Dr Louise Newson has been using Sara Gregory’s menopause paintings as a back drop for her global live tour, ending at the Sydney Opera House, to illustrate the effects of Menopause. Dr Marcela Gonzalez de Cossio also used Gregory’s paintings for a conference at the National Academy of Medical Education in Mexico City.

Perloff’s painting of Miriam Freedman is to be used as the front cover to her autobiography, ‘Love is always the answer’.
Margaret Crutchley, Diana Sandetskaya and Neeta Kataria all took part in the Linden Hall Winter Show in Deal.
