Congratulations to Studio Fridays artist Dawn Limbert, whose work ‘Aureus’ was recently included in the Pastel Society’s 123rd Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London.

The Pastel Society cites itself as being ‘recognised as foremost in its field, a magnet for brilliant exponents of pastel, pencil, chalk and charcoal.’ The Society was founded in 1898, with its first exhibition being held in the Royal Institute in Piccadilly. Founder members and early exhibitors included Brangwyn, Degas, Rodin, Rothenstein, Whistler and G.F.Watts.
